Penampang District Police Chief Supt Sammy Newton said the two- day “Ops Tapis” from Monday targeted six locations in Putatan and Penampang.
He said the suspects were arrested under Section 39A, 12(3) and 15(1)(a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
“A total of 20 people were screened and 5.94gm of syabu worth RM1,188 was seized.
They were all taken to the Penampang station for further investigation,” he said.
