LABUAN: LDA (Holdings) Sdn Bhd Chief Executive Officer Noor Halim Zaini said the RM1 million being spent to upgrade the Labuan International Passenger Ferry Terminal in phases is to help draw more domestic travellers to the island.
It was hoped the upgrade would be completed before Hari Raya next year.
He said the investment was also necessary because as an International Financial Centre as well as an oil and gas hub. “we must have a ferry terminal that is befitting the status and giving a good first impression to visitors”.
