Sabah firm against challenges to its borders: Hajiji

Kota Kinabalu: The State Government is firm in its stance on any attempts by neighbouring countries to ensure that the borders of the country, especially the State, are preserved and not challenged.

Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor said Malaysia and Indonesia are committed to comprehensively resolving territorial land and sea boundary demarcation issues.

Hajiji said this in response to Senallang assemblyman Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal who sought an explanation on negotiations with Indonesia regarding Sebatik Island under the Sulawesi Sea Treaty, at the State Legislative Assembly sitting, here, Monday.
