Kota Kinabalu: An all-Sabahan football team will represent Malaysia in the VIP World Cup tournament to be held in Uthai Thani, Thailand from December 7-11.
VWFF (VIP World Football Federation) Malaysia president Adelaide Cornelius said on Tuesday that they are setting a top four target for the 24-member team led by manager Benjamin Tan.
The players are S Roslee Abdullah Sani, Herbert Vinison, Christopher Lousi, Iiertus John, Ending Urus, Edwin Ikhsan, Jeff Leong, Peter Ekun, Joseph Aling, July Katil, Yap Teck Yong, Matius Piri, Andi Abdul Kinu, Adzmar Ahmad, Silas Mojunting, Jikol Tagua, Bony Mogonse, Gerry Asing, Zulkipli Ali, Mohd Farid Mohd Salleh, Sophian Mohamad, Johny Vincent and Mohd Nizam Mohd Yunus.
In August, the national team was also represented by all Sabahans at the VIP World Football Federation (VWFF) Asia Championship held in Jakarta, Indonesia.
