Kota Kinabalu: A man was found dead near a river in Sembulan Lama, Karamunsing, on Tuesday.
According to his sister, Wong Lee, 46, suffered disabilities as a result of a motorcycle accident in 2016.
The sister said their uncle had invited the deceased for coffee earlier Tuesday morning but the man was nowhere to be found.
The family went to search for him, only to receive news of his passing. It is believed that the man fell into the river.
His body was found by members of the public at 7.15am.
A witness reported seeing him walking around the Sembulan area at midnight.
Police were at the scene to investigate. The body has been sent for post mortem.
