Kota Kinabalu: Kota Kinabalu football team are aiming to win a medal in the 10th Sabah Games (Saga) to be held here from December 16-22.

Team manager Lokma Sunggim said the squad this year will feature some new faces and it is very important for the players to gel as team before the start of their campaign.

“I am confident the combination of the experienced players and some of the new faces under head coach Roslan Wasli and his assistants Rosdin Wasli and Rosly Jamal will improve further before the games start two weeks from now.

“We are of course aiming for the gold medal but it all depends on the performance of the players during the competition. Hopefully all goes well and we can achieve the target,” he said on Thursday.
