Drugs: Man ordered to enter defence

TAWAU: A 51-year-old mechanic who was charged with trafficking about 2kg syabu was ordered to enter his defence.

High Court Judge Datuk Dr Lim Hock Leng made the decision after finding that the prosecution had succeeded in proving a prima facie case against Tai Chee Kiong.

The court fixed Dec 5 for Tai’s defence.

Tai was accused of trafficking 199, 950.1gm of syabu at 7.30pm on Sept 6, 2021 in Kg Batu Payung.
