Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor said he wanted the management of GLC Asian Supply Base (ASB) to maximise its participation in the oil and gas industry.

"Petronas has stated that it wants 30 per cent participation from Sabah companies but so far participation has not been very encouraging. We must make sure we achieve the 30 per cent target," said Hajiji in his maiden working visit to ASB here today according to a statement..

"ASB under the Sabah Energy Corporation (SEC) is one of the State Government’s key GLC. It is important for ASB to diversify its business in the oil and gas industry," he said after a briefing on the company's future plan.
