Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah Islamic Affairs Council (Muis) has been awarded a clean bill for efficient financial management three years in a row by the Auditor-General.
Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Datuk Dr Mohd Arifin bin Mohd Arif, who is also Sabah Islamic Affairs Exco, said Muis also received a clean bill certificate in 2019, 2020 and 2021.
“In addition to successfully zeroing out existing debt, Muis also strengthens and improves financial performance every year through an investment portfolio involved in banking, plantation and property rental industries,” he told the State Legislative Assembly recently.
