PAPAR: A house was destroyed while two more badly damaged in a fire at Taman Nagapas, here, Sunday.

According to Fire and Rescue Department spokesperson, a team of 12 personnel led by Fire Station Chief Rozlan Osman rushed to the scene after receiving a distressed call at 2.15am.

Upon arriving at the location, he said the team immediately carried out operation to control the fire to prevent it from spreading to other houses. 

The first house was destroyed by the fire while two others were badly damaged, but the situation was brought under control at 3.25am, he added.

No casualties were reported in the incident while the cause of fire is being investigated.
