Kota Kinabalu: A pregnant woman perished after a Proton Iswara collided with a Toyota Hilux 4WD near City Mall along Jalan Lintas early today.

The fire department said a man in his 30s and a woman also in the Iswara were severely injured while the Hilux driver, a 33-year-old man, was unharmed.

The female victim was confirmed dead at the scene by a medical officer.
