KOTA KINABALU: A Musang King durian in Raub, Pahang, has fetched RM185,000 per fruit, making it one of the most expensive durians in the world.

Facebook post, said the price of the durian started at RM2,000 at a fund-raising event on Sunday.
He said the price soared after several bids were made, and Huang Qi Wen made the winning bid.
In the post, Fadzli claimed it was the most expensive durian in the world.
“The highest bid for a Black Thorn durian fetched RM15,000,” he said in the post.
He also said Pahang Durian Traders Association Chairman Datuk Lye We Ken contributed RM204,444 through the bidding programme held at SMK Sungai Ruan, Raub.
“This means, in total, RM404,444 was successfully collected to improve the school's infrastructure,” he said.
