TAMBUNAN: The football field in Kampung Sunsuron needs to be repaired for the benefit of villagers, especially youths.

A villager who wanted to remain anonymous said the field is in dire need of improvement.

“The field had been abandoned for so long. In every election campaign, villagers were promised the allocation to improve the field,” he said, recently.

“It needs to be rebuilt. We have to fork out our own money to improve the condition of the field previously.

“However, the irrigation at the sides of the field made it difficult for us to maintain the field.”

He added that the field in front of the Datuk John Gaisah Hall suits sports and other outdoor activities.

“Villagers hope the field will be improved immediately. Aside from that, a pavilion should also be built,” he said.
