LABUAN: Petronas, through its social impact arm, Yayasan Petronas brought festive cheer to 100 beneficiaries from the low-income group here under its Uplifting Lives programme in conjunction with Christmas.

Head of Petronas Sabah and Labuan, Siti Ayu Abdul Wahab, handed over essential food items and festive cookies to Labuan Hospital Deputy Director (Medical), Dr Ishvinder Singh, to be distributed to 30 patients.

The event was followed by a house-to-house convoy to hand over the items to the homes of selected recipients around the island. 

With this Christmas initiative, Yayasan Petronas would have distributed festive food items to 11,850 families this year.
