She admits to having grown to love Kota Kinabalu (KK) ever since she joined City Hall, or Dewan Bandaraya Kota Kinabalu (DBKK), 28 years ago.

One of Noorliza’s priorities after being appointed Mayor was to make KK a favourite city for residents and visitors alike.
To this end, the “Love KK” campaign was launched through a strategic partnership between DBKK, several non-governmental organisations (NGOs), corporate entities and interested individuals.
