Ex-GLC official held for giving projects to firm linked to husband
Selangor MACC director Alias Salim says the case is being probed under Section 23 of the MACC Act for abuse of power.
PETALING JAYA: A former head of operations for a GLC has been remanded by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) for awarding projects to a company linked to her husband.

The suspect allegedly used her position to appoint a company in which her husband had an interest to carry out transportation work, with the contracts worth an estimated RM300,000.

The 40-year-old was arrested at the Selangor MACC office yesterday after giving her statement. She has been remanded until Jan 12.
