IGP Razarudin Husain said the police received four reports over claims the opposition attempted to bribe the palace.
PETALING JAYA: The police have opened an investigation paper into claims that Perikatan Nasional (PN) attempted to bribe the King to topple the government.

“The police received four reports regarding the issue,” he said in a statement yesterday evening, urging the public not to speculate.

The investigation follows a blog post claiming that PN secretary-general Hamzah Zainudin had allocated RM1 billion to the palace to help topple the unity government.
