Don’t blame RM262mil unpaid water bills: Warisan

PENAMPANG: A 30-year-old foreigner died pinned inside the Isuzu D-Max he was driving which turned turtle near the junction to the Putatan Health Clinic, here, Saturday. 

It was learnt that the victim collided into the rear of a Perodua Myvi in the 5am incident, resulting in both crashing to the left side of the road.

Firemen freed the victim who was pronounced dead by Hospital Queen Elizabeth (HQE) medical officers at the scene. 

Penampang Police Chief DSP Sammy Newton said both vehicles were headed towards the city via the Papar road.

The driver’s body has been sent for a post-mortem.

The case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987. 

Sammy advised the public to practise safe driving and not to share any images of the crash on social media in respect to the families concerned.
