SANDAKAN: Elopura Constituency Community Development Leader (PPM) Ng Boon Leng paid a courtesy call on Deputy Chief Minister II, Datuk Seri Dr Joachim Gunsalam at his office, here, on Monday.

Ng and Joachim, who is also State Local Government and Housing Minister, spent nearly an hour exchanging views on issues affecting Sandakan community particularly Elopura.

During their discussion, Ng took the opportunity to highlight problems on basic facilities including streetlights and roads, under the purview of Joachim’s Ministry.

The Elopura PPM said he would work closely with local government authorities and other relevant agencies to resolve issues for the betterment of Elopura folks.

Joachim welcomed the input from Ng on Sandakan local issues and would look into the matters raised by the latter.
