Kota Kinabalu: Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Seri Dr Joachim Gunsalam wants all departments and agencies under the Ministry to focus on efforts to further improve the quality of their respective services and achievements.

Besides that, he also hoped that all the heads of departments and agencies continue to monitor all the Local Authority (PBT) so that all related issues that arise can be resolved immediately.

Dr Joachim, who is also Deputy Chief Minister II, stated this when chairing the Ministry’s Heads of Departments and Agencies Meeting, which is the first for this year, held at the Hilton Kota Kinabalu, here, Tuesday.

Also present were the Assistant Ministers Datuk Isnin Aliasnih and Datuk Mohd Hamsan Awang Supain; and Ministry’s Permanent Secretary Datuk Dr Jamili Nais.
