Hajiji says Sabah aims to cut poverty by 70-80pc by 2025

Tuaran: The State Government aims to reduce hardcore poverty in the State by 70 to 80 per cent by next year, said Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor.

He said this will hopefully be achieved through various initiatives outlined by the government.

Cosmobeauté Malaysia and beautyexpo will expand into East Malaysia with the launch of the Cosmobeauté Malaysia Borneo Festival 2026 at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) from May 25 to 26.
“Firstly, the government will provide them employment in government agencies, investing companies and government-linked companies (GLCs),” he said after an anti-poverty event, here, Thursday.

“We have asked these participating entities to ensure the hardcore poor also enjoy the job opportunities."
