Says visa move is producing results. Facilities at airports must improve: MTF
Tan said Tourism Malaysia must work in high gear as neighbouring countries have been aggressively promoting their tourism programmes.
Kota Kinabalu: The policy to waive visas for China and India visitors continue to show increased tourist arrivals.

The Malaysian Tourism Federation, Malaysian Chinese Tourism Association, Malaysia Inbound Chinese Association, and Malaysian Indian Tour and Travel Association noticed that tourist arrivals had increased of lately.

Malaysian Tourism Federation President Datuk Tan Kok Liang said the country registered a 40pc increase in arrivals following the move implemented on Dec 1, last year.

Tan said Tourism Malaysia must work in high gear as neighbouring countries have been aggressively promoting their tourism programmes.
