ESG: Businesses urged to comply

Kota Kinabalu: Malaysian businesses were warned of the perils of not adhering to ESG (Environment, Social and Governance) rules as preferred by global expectations.

Former Minister for International Trade and Industry in the Najib-led BN coalition government, Dato’ Sri Mustapha bin Mohamed said this at the Sabah Region’s SDG (United Nations Sustainable Development Goals) Summit 2024, here, recently.

It was officiated by Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Hajiji bin Noor at the Sabah International Convention Centre organised by the Sabah Economic Development and Investment Authority (Sedia).
