LABUAN: The much-awaited new Labuan landmark at the main roundabout in the heart of the town is finally open to the public after the enclosure was removed, and has drawn both bouquets and brickbats on its design.
Labuan Women’s Affairs Association Chief Fauziah Datuk Din said:
“Labuan Corporation (LC) certainly deserves a thumbs-up to get rid of the meaningless old landmark with a dismal look and replace it with a new one which has a refreshing appearance.”
She was all praise for the effort, especially the addition of a stainless steel globe.
