RANAU: A senior citizen and her child granddaughter were found burnt to death in a house fire incident in a village here on Thursday night.

Ranau Fire and Rescue Chief Ridwan Mohd Taib said the incident happened in Kampung Matan at about 10.53pm.

"The bodies of Jafflan Sigal, 60, and her granddaughter, identified as four-year-old Carla, were found in the bedroom by firefighters after the fire was extinguished," he said.
