31 teams compete in Street Soccer Challenge

Kota Kinabalu: A total of 31 teams took part in the 3rd Street Soccer 3 on 3 Challenge held in conjunction with the City Day celebration at the City Hall car park on Saturday.

Mayor Datuk Seri Sabin Samitah, who graced the opening ceremony, praised the organisers for the programme and said the event is very beneficial to the community especially the youth in the city.

“We congratulate the organisers for successfully organising this programme which is very well received and beneficial.

“It allows the youth to fill their free time with healthy activities, and I personally very much support this programme and hope it will continue to expand and help to unearth new talents in the future,” he said.
