KENINGAU: Newly-formed Koperasi Tatalaan Berhad hopes to joint venture with Sabah Land Development Board (SLDB) to develop its 300 acres in the Tatalaan area for cattle breeding and cash crops.
Its Chairman Barahim Andipoh said the cooperative obtained a Registration Certificate from the Malaysian Cooperative Commission (SKM) in December last year.
The cooperative planned a programme that is geared towards increasing the economic resources of the local community, especially the members of the cooperative involving 12 villages in the Tatalaan area.
“We are confident our cooperative will be able to improve the economy of the people when the joint venture with SLDB becomes a reality later,” he said, after the Cooperative Board Committee Formation Meeting at the SLDB West Region meeting room recently.
