Tuaran: The Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Ministry welcomes cooperation with educational institutions that provide skilled workforce related to the focus sectors of the New Industrial Masterplan (NIMP) 2030, said its Minister Datuk Ewon Benedick.
“The Ministry’s Professional Training and Education for Growing Entrepreneurs (Protégé) programme would also be re-adjusted to be aligned with the needs of NIMP 2030,” he said after visiting ESTC Academy, here, Friday.
Protégé targets those who have completed their studies and graduates who are currently working without equivalent certifications.
The programme runs for eight to 12 months where the participants undergo skills and on-the-job training while receiving subsidy every month.
