Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah (PGRS) Kapayan Division will host the Pesta Angpow 2024 tomorrow (Feb 18).

Deputy Secretary-General of PGRS Datuk Dr Stephen Jimbangan invited residents of Kapayan and neighbouring areas to partake in the festivity at Beverly Hills Plaza, opposite Milimewa Supermarket at 6pm.

In collaboration with the Bestari Sabah Welfare Association, the festival aims to elevate the celebration of the Chinese New Year, fostering unity among diverse ethnic groups in Sabah, while preserving Chinese culture in Malaysia.

“This Angpow Festival also provides a platform for small entrepreneurs to participate in business activities during the evening,” said Stephen, who is also Chief of PGRS Kapayan Division.

Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajijj Noor is expected to officiate the festival.

The event promises an array of engaging activities, including singing and dancing performances, lucky draws, as well as captivating lion and dragon dance presentations, ensuring an enjoyable experience for all attendees.
