Kota Kinabalu: A 50-year-old woman sustained injuries after being violently robbed of RM5,000 including her smartphone in a back alley of a bank here on Friday which went viral.
The suspect was arrested on Sunday, said police, adding they received a report regarding the incident on Saturday.
The viral clip shows a violent robbery in which the suspect beats the woman with what appears to be a stick before making away with her belongings.
