PUTATAN: Some 160 SK Putatan and Kampung Contoh pupils received schooling assistance before the next session on March 11.
Deputy Chief Minister III and Minister of Public Works, Datuk Shahelmey Yahya, said school aid in the form of bags and stationery were distributed to pupils from low-income families.
According to him, the school aid was donated by Sabah State Baitulmal Corporation. In addition to the distribution of school aid, the pupils were also given free haircuts in the programme.
