Sabah Customs seize Thai chickens worth almost RM1mil

Kota Kinabalu: Customs seized three shipping containers containing frozen chicken breast and thighs worth RM931,500 and RM186,300 in duties at the Sepanggar port on Feb 2 Feb.

Sabah Royal Malaysian Customs Deputy Director Datuk Mohd Nasir Deraman said further inspections revealed they originated from Thailand.

He said they were brought into the country through Bukit Kayu Hitam in Kedah on Jan 16.
