Kota Kinabalu: Sabah's scuba diving activities brought over RM500 million in income in a year, it has been reported.
Sharks and rays have become one of the main diving attractions, Sabah Fisheries Department director Azhar Kassim said, according to
NST.
"In this matter, it is important that there is a balance between the exploitation of sharks and rays by fishermen and the development of ecotourism in Sabah," he was quoted as saying during a recent workshop in Sandakan.
