Body of missing woman found in Beaufort
BEAUFORT: The body of a 74-year-old Murut woman was found on Friday, a day after she was reported missing from her house.

The body of Kamariah Sungkim was discovered around 2.55pm in Kg Binunuk, about 1.7km from her home, according to District Police Chief DSP Ismail Abdullah.

Police received a missing person report at 9am on Thursday. The woman was characterised as being clothed in black and white, with a hijab and no shoes. 

She was last seen in front of a fertiliser shop at the Sawit Kinabalu plantation in Kg Binunuk by a lorry driver.
