Kota Kinabalu: Several cars were damaged in a fire involving TY Auto Car Dealer Sdn Bhd in Beverly Hills along Jalan Bundusan, here, on Saturday.

It is understood that the owner, who has been operating the business for over 20 years, was outstation when the fire occurred. 

The 6.25pm fire was believed to have started from a car which caught fire owing to a short circuit, before it spread. 

The office in the front of the building was also damaged. The loss was estimated at RM600,000.
