Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah Government’s strategic investment arm, Kumpulan Qhazanah Sabah Berhad (QSB), presented business tithe of RM218,143 for 2023 to the Sabah Tithe Centre under the Sabah Islamic Religious Council (Muis), recently.
QSB Chairman Datuk Dr Yusof Yacob said the amount includes RM147,943 from Common Towers Sdn Bhd, RM77,600 from Qhazanah Sabah Berhad and RM55,600 from Angkatan Hebat Sdn Bhd.
Celcom Timur Sabah Sdn Bhd, an associate company of QSB, also declared its business zakat amounting to RM804,807.
