KUALA PENYU: Some 3,630 household heads comprising Muslim community in this area received food baskets donated by the representative of Kuala Penyu, Datuk Limus Jury at the Ramadan Pilgrimage Programme here.
Donations at the annual event also extended to the less fortunate including single mothers, orphans and homeless to reduce their burden to celebrate Aidilfitri.
Not to be left out, all the chairmen and imams of mosques and suraus in the district including staff of the Sabah Islamic Religious Affairs Department (Jheains) also received monetary donations.
