SEMPORNA: A 47-year-old man was found unconscious inside a locked house in Taman Emas.
Health Ministry personnel later confirmed that he died on Saturday.
State Fire and Rescue Department spokesperson said its Semporna Fire and Rescue Station received a call to unlock a door at 4.13pm.
Upon arrival, the team immediately unlocked the door by cutting the padlock with special tools.
“After unlocking the door, a man was found unconscious in a room and thereafter Health Ministry personnel confirmed he had died.
“The victim was handed over to the police for further action.
The operation ended at 6.08pm,” the spokesperson said.
