Two Sabahans unscathed in deadly Taiwan quake

Kota Kinabalu: Two Sabahans were unscathed in a 7.5 magnitude deadly earthquake that hit Taiwan's eastern coast today.

“This is the strongest earthquake I have seen during my four years of studies here,” Hiew Yi Ying, 24, a student in chef professionals and food and beverage who lives in Yilan, told Daily Express.

In Keelung, Charlize Tan, a 24-year-old Sabahan occupational therapist, said the earthquake situation was more stable there.

“There are little things falling down, but people here in Keelung so far are mostly fine,” she said.
