Johor Unduk Ngadau 2023 renounces her title
KOTA KINABALU: In a dramatic turn of events, Johor KDCA Unduk Ngadau 2023, Viru Nikah Terinisip (pic) has renounced her crown.

In a social media video, Viru Nikah, also known as “Duyung Darat”, on Monday, said she finally found the courage to do so but believed that this is not the end.

“I joined the Unduk Ngadau competition by my own will and returned this title without coercion. I respect my decision,” she said in the video.

Viru Nikah, also known as “Duyung Darat”, recently landed in the hot soup after she posted a holiday video that irked netizens.

The 2026 D-MAX also introduces an 8-speed automatic gearbox with sequential shift across the range, including the Single Cab variant, making it the first pick-up truck in Malaysia to offer an automatic transmission in that body style.
In the video, the 24-year-old influencer responded excitedly to cross-dressing male workers who danced suggestively at a popular eatery in Thailand.

Some saw her behaviour as harmless fun, but others disagreed.
