KOTA KINABALU: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor asked the people to maintain unity and strengthen their commitment to developing the State.
He said the State Government has undergone various tests and challenges under his leadership for the past three years.
"Starting with the pandemic, which led to economic issues and political unrest.
"However, thanks to patience, persistence and unity among the people, we face everything with perseverance and wisdom.
"At the same time, I also feel proud that the State, blessed with diverse cultures and beliefs, allows us to live in peace and respect each other.
"This situation has opened up a vast space for us to exploit our capabilities and bring the family, community, State and country to a better level.
"This is the importance of peace despite differences in religion, culture and beliefs," he said in his special Hari Raya Aidilfitri address on Tuesday.
