Kota Kinabalu: State Rural Development Assistant Minister Datuk Samad Jambri said 1,500 Rumah Mesra Sabah Maju Jaya (SMJ) houses have already been completed, with another 1,500 units under construction.
He said the construction of the Rumah Mesra SMJ began in 2023, with each state constituency assigned 20 houses.
“This programme will continue to be implemented this year with the same number of 1,500 more houses with a total of 3,000 houses for recipients listed in the hardcore poor, poor and B40 category,” he said.
