This calls for humility and listening skills in effecting Social and Behaviour Change Communication (SBCC) for holistic sustainable development in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Participants at the Asia Pacific SBCC Regional Symposium recently heard keynote speaker Prof Dr Mohan J Dutta espouse on this.
Dr Mohan is the Dean’s Chair in Communication Massey Business School, Massey University, New Zealand, and Director at Centre for Culture-Centred Approach to Research and Evaluation (Care) advocates dialogic encounters with oppressed communities that force their academic gaze inward.
