Kota Kinabalu: SK Api Api organised a Word Carnival under Highly Immersive Programme (HIP) in collaboration with Sabah English Aspiration Society (SEAS), recently, with encouraging response from Year 5 and Year 6 students.
Founders of SEAS Dr Zainab Kassim and husband, Dr Burhanudin Busu – both doctors at King’s College Hospital (KCH) in London – were present to witness the special occasion.

Elizabeth Kalinauckas, a retired nurse from KCH, was among the guests.
Headmaster Mohd Hafizah Zuraimy Bin Damsah said the Word Carnival provided students with a platform to strengthen their English Language foundations as they have firsthand experience in discovering new vocabularies.
