Croc shot dead in Lahad Datu
WILDLIFE officers shot dead a 13-foot long crocodile at Kampung Sapagaya, Lahad Datu, last Tuesday.

This followed a complaint from a villager that a crocodile was sighted at Sungai Sapagaya, near the villager’s house.

The Lahad Datu Wildlife Department also received complaints from other villagers who claimed to have frequently sighted crocodiles in the area, estimated at five of different sizes.

“Our men went to the location and waited for about 30 minutes before firing a shot which hit the crocodile.
