PENAMPANG: An activist group, Penampang Watchers, claims some KDM (KadazanDusunMurut) leaders are only champions when they were in the opposition, shouting fiercely, organising demos and criticising opponents when election was near.
“Their voices are amplified on issues of MA63 like the 40 per cent Sabah revenue. But once elected, their voices died and the Rakyat is again cheated,” said spokesman Edwin Jomiji.
“Sarawak has now passed a motion in their state assembly to drop the word ‘Negeri’ and Wilayah and recognise Sarawak as a region.
