TAWAU: The Deputy Secretary General (Security) of the Ministry of Home Affairs (KDN), Dato Hj Abdul Halim Bin Hj Abdul Rahman urged all parties to eliminate the negative stigma towards the establishment of a Narcotic Addiction Rehabilitation Centre (Puspen) in this area.

He said its establishment was aimed at providing treatment and rehabilitation to those who strayed.

“In other words, a second chance to those who are stuck to come back to the family and community,” he said at the Ground Breaking Ceremony for the Puspen Construction Project Site at Batu 36.

The ceremony was held in collaboration with the KDN, the National Anti-Drug Agency (AADK), the Sabah Public Works Department (JKR) and the Sabah Land and Survey Department (JTU).
