He said many members of the public showed up for the hearing due to a misconception that it was to determine whether or not Sabah is entitled or the 40pc entitlement.
In Fuad’s view, even if SLS’ appeal is granted, it had no apparent bearing but only the right to sue the Federal Government over the 40 pc entitlement.
“It doesn’t meant our 40pc right is gone. Sabah’s rights are alive well to which I have heard Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has shown a particular interest to the benefit of both governments.
“Sabah is actively reviewing (the entitlement) in cooperation with the Federal Government under Article 112 of the Federal Constitution.
