SANDAKAN: Tanjong Papat Assemblyman and Chairman of Sabah Development Berhad (SDB), Datuk Frankie Poon Ming Fung, received a courtesy visit from the Sabah Maju Jaya Secretariat Chief Coordinator Officer, Datuk Rosmadi Datu Sulai, and entourage. 

The meeting was held to discuss several important matters, including the issue of extreme poverty in the Tanjong Papat area, housing issues under the SMJ initiative, Blue Economy planning, and related matters. 

Frankie said the information is also important to facilitate matters to help the people and improve their well-being. 

“I really appreciate the efforts of the Sabah Maju Jaya Secretariat in providing this comprehensive data and information,” he said.

“This will also help us in planning and implementing initiatives aimed at reducing extreme poverty, improving housing conditions, and advancing the economy and people’s lives in the Tanjong Papat area,” he said in a statement after the meeting. 

Also present in the meeting were SSMJ Chief Operating Officer, Ramlee Kariah; SSMJ Director, Rosnih Othman; Assistant Director Izwan Izzudin; Oreynie Arlina Yeop; Mohd Shafiq; SDB Trade and Investment Unit General Manager, Liau Fui Fui; Senior Manager Ku Nyet Fan; and Community Development Leader of Tanjong Papat, Max Million Lee Yun Vui.
