KOTA KINABALU: Investigations are underway involving a murder case at an entertainment outlet in Bandaran Berjaya here early Sunday. 

Kota Kinabalu Police Chief ACP Kasim Muda said preliminary investigations showed that the incident happened between 2am and 3am and involved two Indonesian fishing crew members with proper documentation.  

"One of the victims sustained injuries while the other died at the scene. 

"We are working on identifying and apprehending the suspect," he said. 

He said early findings suggest revenge likely motivated the fight between the parties.
